Anyway, these are things to do once you are back together, but what do you do now to get back together with ex?
Become the kind of guy she wants to date. Buy some new clothes. Start exercising. Pay attention to the news and talk about things that will surprise her. Do things and learn things that will surprise her, since she needs to get to know the new you.
For instance, if she thinks all you care about is baseball, then tell her that you were thinking of riding horses some weekend and would she like to come along. [A good example of this might be that if she thinks all you care about is baseball, then surprise her by inviting her to ride horses or go to the opera. This will surprise her because she has it in her mind that you wouldn’t do anything outside of the baseball world.

You might also try to date some popular girls. Popular girls date popular guys. If you are seeing an in-demand girl, she will come to think of you as an in-demand guy. Her whole ‘picture’ of you will change.
She’ll see you as some kind of valuable thing that she threw away and maybe, just maybe, she was wrong.
When you want to get back together with ex, you need to realize that there is a new power relationship at play. You no longer belong to each other exclusively. Instead, you are two independent spheres rotating around the other.
Many guys don’t realize that this power shift has occurred. During their time alone, when guys are in the dumps, they don’t bother to change their old behavior. This is a big mistake.
When you want to get back together with ex, you will take advantage of the shift in power. You will get her attention if you become the in-demand guy, change those things that she never liked about you and become a little bit unavailable to her.
If these things don’t work, she probably has moved on and you won’t have much hope of jump starting anything.
However, in almost all cases, because women are fickle creatures, you can usually get back together with ex.
